A Staircase of Choices

A Staircase of Choices explores the relationship between individual choices, human behavior, and the consequences they gradually create. The staircase represents a path through life. Each step becomes a decision, and every decision shapes what we encounter further along the way. The discarded objects found across the steps become traces of seemingly small and insignificant choices. As these traces accumulate, they lead toward the drain a metaphor for the outcome created by our repeated actions. The work reflects on how the choices we make along the way can shape the place we eventually arrive at. It asks a simple question: Are we creating the path we want to reach?
